I am a qualified 1st4Sport Level 2 WPBSA (World Professional Billiard and Snooker Association) coach.
Whether you are young or old, a beginner, amateur or professional, I provide high quality one to one coaching.
A little bit about me...
I have my own private snooker room, based near Shrewsbury in Shropshire.
I hold a current Advanced DBS certificate, allowing me to work with children and vulnerable adults.
I have been Lead Coach at Cue Zone at the World Championship in Sheffield and also the UK Championship in York. I have also coached at Cue Zones at the English Open in Manchester,the Champion of Champions in Coventry, the World Grand Prix in Llandudno and the Players' Championship at the Guild Hall Preston.
I work regularly with WDBS (World Disability Billiards and Snooker), offering coaching during open days at their events around the country.
I have also worked for Matchroom Sport events, including the World 9-Ball Pool Championship in Leicester and the Champion of Champions at the Ricoh Arena.
And I have worked with Television Production companies on snooker related projects. More recently in 2021, I worked with Fulwell 73; coaching football legends, Peter Crouch and Scott McTominay for 'Crouchy's Year Late Euros'.
I am constantly updating my training and have attended training for Safeguarding and Protecting Children and currently hold a certificate for Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity. I have also achieved the digital badge for UK Coaching Duty to Care, whose five pillars; inclusion, well-being, diversity, mental-health and safeguarding underpins my approach to coaching.
